MoDOT Bridge 254 – Raytown, MO
The 67th Street bridge over Route 350 was built in 1925 and needed replacement. It was one of ten bridges replaced by Kissick as part of the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Safe & Sound Bridge Improvement Program.
Bowersock North Generation Facility
Kissick Construction led the design-build effort to construct a new hydroelectric generation facility on the Kansas River, including coordination of the engineering, architecture, and construction activities for the ownership team.
Power Generation Station Unit | Confidential Client
Kissick was the prime contractor for the construction of Unit 2, a new 750MW coal-fired generation plant adjacent to the existing unit, including all earthwork, engineered shoring, foundation auger-cast piling, structural concrete foundations, elevated cast-in-place concrete structures, flatwork, and underground mechanical and electrical duct bank systems.
AQCS Upgrades – Lawrence Energy Center
Kissick Construction acted as prime contractor for the Air Quality Control System upgrade of the Lawrence Energy Center, a multi-unit coal-fired power generating station.
KC Streetcar Platform
Kissick Construction was proud to construct the first streetcar stop and boarding platform for Kansas City Missouri’s new downtown streetcar, almost 58 years after the previous system ceased operation in 1957.
