A broken or clogged sewer service line can be the precursor to larger household issues and can cause a lot of stress, discomfort, and frustration to any household. If you are experiencing drains that drain slowly or become frequently clogged and you are needing to rooter or snake your main sewer line on a frequent basis, you may have a larger problem. Your service line may need to be repaired, replaced or jet cleaned. Kissick Construction’s professional-grade services can solve your problems.
A lot of homes in the Kansas City metropolitan area still have vitrified clay pipe (VCP) service lines. This pipe material can easily crack or break, creating a pathway for tree roots to enter the service lines and cause clogs and major backup problems. Sewage can even back up into your home.
Our suite of services include:
Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Inspection
Utilizing state-of-the-art CCTV equipment, we can inspect your sanitary sewer service line without excavation or significant service interruption. Unlike some other contractors, we can do this inspection from the city’s main line, so we don’t even have to come into your home. CCTV Inspection is a quick and cost-effective way to obtain vital information about the interior conditions of the main sewer line. Our CCTV technicians are also highly trained construction professionals, able to diagnose the issues with your line, and armed with the expertise and experience to fix it.
T-Liner System Installation
The LMK T-Liner system is the most precise long-term engineered CIPP solution for defective sanitary sewer lines. The T-Liner is a one-piece homogenous, structural mainline to service line connection capable of lining the damaged sections of your house’s main sewer line, up to 200 linear feet from your connection to the city sewer. T-Liners utilize patented hydrophilic gaskets and O-rings ensuring a water-tight seal between the CIPP liner and the host pipe. T-Liners are installed from the city’s sewer main, so entering your home is not necessary.
Service Line Sectional Repair
If you have one area in your service line that is cracked or damaged and you don’t want to replace the service or install a T-Liner, we can repair only the damaged portions of the service line using LMK’s Performance Liner Sectional. This is a trenchless repair method that can be installed anywhere in the pipe and doesn’t require trimming or cutting. This process includes embedding LMK’s patented hydrophilic o-rings between the liner and the host pipe ensuring a water-tight seal.
Pipe Bursting Method
If CIPP methods are not possible due to your service line being damaged or broken, pipe bursting is another replacement method that requires minimal excavation. Pipe bursting is a replacement method where the existing pipe is opened and forced outward by a pipe bursting machine. The pipe bursting hydraulic head is pulled through the existing pipe, forcing the existing pipe to break apart while the new pipe is pulled through where the existing pipe once was. This method requires far less excavation and restoration than traditional methods.
Traditional Open-Cut Methods
If your service line is damaged or broken and trenchless methods are not possible, we can do it the old fashioned way. Kissick Construction has successfully completed underground site utility projects all over the metro area and the surrounding region. We have worked in all soil types and have highly trained construction professionals that will perform this work with the customer in mind.
