KC Streetcar Platform

Kissick Construction was proud to construct the first streetcar stop and boarding platform for Kansas City Missouri’s new downtown streetcar, almost 58 years after the previous system ceased operation in 1957.

This southbound platform at 16th & Main won a CPG Excellence in Concrete Award (Commercial Flatwork) in 2015. The April 24, 2015 “Party at the Platform” celebrating the new streetcar line was held on this very platform.
