Deep Foundation Services
Driven Piles
We are experienced in installing many types of driven piles including: steel H-piles, steel pipe piles, prestress and precast concrete piles, and timber piles.
Augered Cast-In-Place Piles
Kissick has decades of experience installing various sizes of auger cast piles, a common and cost-effective method of high load bearing piling used to mitigate poor subsoils.
Tiebacks
Using an angled horizontal wire or rod, or a helical anchor, a tieback is commonly used along with other retaining systems (e.g. soldier piles, sheet piles, secant and tangent walls) to provide additional stability.
Micro Piles & Pin Piles
When demanded by unique site conditions or construction needs, Kissick can install smaller micro piles within tight quarters or challenging conditions.
Underpinning
Using a variety of methods, Kissick can install underpinning to enhance the load capacity of existing foundations. Among other reasons, this service can be required due to industrial plant expansions or new equipment installations.
