Stream Restoration Sewers

The design build project was completed July of 2018. The project consisted of 15 sites of sewer infrastructure rehabilitation exposed in waterways, creeks and rivers around the Kansas City area.

Together with our design engineer CDM Smith, Kissick determined the best method for rehabilitating and protecting the sewer infrastructure while reducing the potential for infiltration and inflow (I&I) and protecting the infrastructure from failure.

The project was recognized for its unique approach and delivery and was the recipient of several awards including an award for Engineering Excellence from the American Consulting Engineers Council (ACEC).

The City of Kansas City renewed the contract for ten additional sites for the design build team of Kissick and CDM Smith.
