Starlight Theatre ADA Improvements

Starlight Theatre ADA improvements will enhance the visitor experience for more patrons. Starlight leadership and staff worked with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, on a $3.1 million master plan to make improvements to the theatre and meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.

Starlight leadership decided to take advantage of the theatre’s shut-down through the COVID-19 pandemic to began making improvements.

Instrumental to these improvements, Kissick Construction completed the following scope of work:

• Increased the number of ADA seating locations
• Leveled walkways in key areas throughout the venue
• Raised seating in the outer Terrace sections
• Provided new easy-to-follow directional signage
