Kissick Construction acted as prime contractor for the Air Quality Control System upgrade of the Lawrence Energy Center—a multi-unit coal-fired power generating station. Kissick built all of the foundations and the underground mechanical and electrical systems.

Site work completed by Kissick included mass excavation, site grading, 669 auger-cast piles, engineered shoring systems, 9,584 cubic yards of structural concrete foundations, 14,100 linear feet of underground mechanical piping and 33,927 linear feet of underground electrical duct bank systems.
